SAFE Joins the Burlington Chamber of Commerce

Survivor Advocates for Empowerment (SAFE) is proud to announce that we are now a member of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. As a survivor-led nonprofit rooted in the Halton region, joining the Chamber strengthens our commitment to local collaboration, advocacy, and community-building. This partnership marks an important step in expanding our voice and presence within Burlington’s network of business and nonprofit leaders—many of whom share our vision of a safer, more inclusive community for all.

The Burlington Chamber of Commerce champions businesses and organizations that foster innovation, sustainability, and growth across all sectors. By becoming a member, SAFE gains access to a dynamic platform for advocacy and networking, while also bringing the unique perspective of lived experience in gender-based violence to Chamber conversations. We look forward to amplifying survivor voices, sharing our work, and building new partnerships to support those impacted by gender-based abuse in Burlington and beyond.
